FAQ

What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP), also known as autologous conditioned plasma, is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein derived from whole blood, centrifuged to remove red blood cells. Though promoted to treat an array of medical problems, with some evidence for use in certain conditions and against use in other conditions.

PRP Process?
Blood is drawn from your arm (5-10 tubes) and spun down in a machine called a centrifuge. This separates the red blood cells from the platelet rich gold liquid called plasma. The plasma is then separated into individual vials that can be used in any of your personal products for skin and hair or with EVN’s oil blend. **plasma should be kept frozen until use**

Does PRP have any risks?
Because PRP is derived from your own blood ("autologous" transplantation), there is NO chance of having an allergy or immune reaction.
What are PRP Benefits?
Collagen production (improves quality and texture of skin); Improves complexion; Diminishes acne scars. Speeds up wound healing; Encourage hair growth.
How long before seeing PRP results?
Results are generally visible at 4 weeks and continue to improve gradually over ensuing months (3-6) with improvement in texture and tone. Advanced wrinkling cannot be reversed and only a minimal improvement is predictable in persons with drug, alcohol, and tobacco usage. Severe scarring may not respond. Current data shows results may last 18·24 months. Of course, all individuals are different so there will be variations from one person to the next.
